The heat-resistant leather gloves go on the moment the fire is lit. Move your BBQ grate, add wood to the fire pit, lift a cast-iron pan from the oven, or stoke your kamado. Wherever hot tools and open flames meet, these gloves give you grip, control and protection.

Made from sturdy suede leather with an extra-long 41 cm cuff that also shields your forearm from heat and sparks. Officially EN 407:2020 certified up to 350 degrees protection for BBQ, Kamado, Fireplace, Wood Burner, Fire Pit, Campfire and Oven.

The gloves are officially certified for contact heat up to 350°C in accordance with the European safety standard for heat-resistant work gloves. In additional laboratory tests they performed safely at 500°C for up to approximately 16 seconds. Ideal for moving hot BBQ grates, logs, cast-iron pans, kamado components, and oven dishes.

Suitable for BBQ, kamado, open fireplace, wood-burning stove, fire pit, campfire, and oven use. The gloves protect against dry heat, not against steam or hot liquids. Intended for brief contact with hot items, not for prolonged holding.

The gloves are one-size with a hand length of 22 cm and a hand circumference of 32 cm. The 16-inch (41 cm) long cuff also protects your forearm against heat and sparks. They fit comfortably on both average and larger hands.

This depends on the temperature. At 350°C you have approximately 18 seconds of safe contact, at 500°C approximately 16 seconds. Below 250°C this is more than 20 seconds. Intended for moving hot objects, not for prolonged holding.

No, the gloves are not washable. Leather can be damaged by water and detergents. Wipe off dirt with a dry or slightly damp cloth and allow them to dry thoroughly at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.

You receive a complete pair: 2 gloves, one for the left hand and one for the right. Not a single glove.

EN 407 is the European safety standard for heat-resistant work gloves. An independent European test laboratory has tested the gloves for flammability, contact heat, radiant heat, and molten metal splash. The PyroProducts gloves score level 4 for flammability and level 3 for contact heat (up to 350°C). This means the heat claim is not just a marketing promise — it has been independently tested and approved.
