Lighter gas for refillable lighters
With the right lighter gas, your refillable lighter will burn powerfully and consistently. In this collection, you will find Atomic butane gas for refilling gas lighters, storm lighters, torch lighters, and cigar lighters.
For many refillable lighters, we recommend 45 PSI butane gas. Gas with the correct pressure helps keep the flame stable and prevents a lighter from burning weakly or irregularly after refilling.
Preferably use butane gas 45 PSI for refillable lighters. Always let the lighter stabilize briefly after filling before using it.
What gas do you need for your lighter?
Most refillable lighters operate on butane gas. This gas is used for many gas lighters, storm lighters, and torch lighters with a blue flame. Pay particular attention to the gas pressure. When the pressure is too low, the flame can become weak or the lighter may seem like it is not working properly.
At PyroProducts, we use and recommend Atomic lighter gas because this gas suits the refillable lighters in our range well. You can choose from a single 400 ml can, a value pack of 4 x 400 ml, or compact cans of 4 x 60 ml.

Lighter gas is used to refill refillable lighters. Think of storm lighters, cigar lighters, fireplace lighters, and torch lighters with a blue flame. The right gas makes a big difference in the performance of your lighter.
In this collection, you will find Atomic butane gas in various packages, including 400 ml, 4 x 400 ml, and compact 60 ml cans. For most refillable gas lighters, we recommend 45 PSI butane gas. This keeps the flame strong and consistent, provided the lighter is properly filled and maintained.
Always refill your lighter slowly and keep the can upright according to the instructions. Let the lighter rest briefly after filling before using it. If your lighter doesn’t work well after filling, it is often due to the gas used, air in the reservoir, or the filling method. Therefore, also check our refilling instructions for lighters.
